Here at Harwoods Group we are excited to welcome customers back to our showrooms from Wednesday 2nd December.
The safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority and we want you to feel comfortable visiting our dealerships, whether that be for sales or aftersales services. We have adapted our facilities and procedures to ensure they are COVID-19 safe, so please take a moment to read what to expect next time you visit. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our helpful teams at your local dealership.
We all understand how important social distancing is for our protection, and so you can be reassured that this will continue in our showroom and servicing facilities. The same rules apply: to keep a minimum of 2 metres apart. To achieve this you will notice we have moved some things around, and marked on the floor to indicate where people should walk, and stop, to ensure distancing rules are followed by all. A new sanitising system is also in place in all areas of our showrooms, from rest rooms to desks and waiting areas. Hand sanitiser points are also available for you to use.
In order to fulfill car servicing requirements, new procedures are now in place from booking through to completion. The day before your appointment, you will be called by a service advisor to discuss the work to be completed. You will then be asked to confirm that your vehicle has not been occupied by someone confirmed as having COVID-19. Safety measures will include digital invoicing, a key deposit box, specified arrival and collection time slots and more.
If you are unable to visit Harwoods or don’t feel comfortable, we now offer a collection and return service. Your car will be sanitised on collection, prepared for work, and sanitised again for its return. Keys are cleaned and bagged for you. When you call to book an appointment, a member of our team will explain the procedure and cost, so you will know exactly what to expect.
Yes, you can still take that intriguing new car out for a test drive with us, except it won’t actually be with us, instead you can drive by yourself in a specially prepared and sanitised car. Simply talk to our sales team - they will instruct you on how Harwoods unaccompanied test drives work, and the terms and conditions.
We very much appreciate your help and understanding during this challenging period and look forward to seeing you at one of our sites soon.
